Wanda Deglane is a 21 -year-old Capricorn from Glendale, Arizona. Though she has had a profound love for writing all her life, she only recently started to write poetry in earnest, and the passion has taken off more quickly than she could have imagined.

Wanda is a Marriage and Family Therapist graduate student at Arizona State University. Wanda divides her time up with schoolwork and writing, as well as spending her weekends with her family and loved ones, and her beloved dog children, Leia and Luke, and her cats, Nico and Tommy.

For now, poetry remains a hobby that has taken over much of Wanda's life, but she is excited to see where it will go. She has been seriously submitting for a year, and has been published or accepted in over 100 literary magazines and journals, including Glass Poetry, Rust + Moth, and Former Cactus. She is the editor-in-chief of a new literary and arts magazine, Honey & Lime, which was started in November 2018. Wanda is the author of the poetry chapbooks Rainlily (2018), Things That Will Happen After the End of the World No One Will Be Around to Witness (post ghost press, 2018), Lady Saturn (2019), Honey-Laced Garbage Dreams (Ghost City Press, 2019), Bittersweet (Vegetarian Alcoholic Press, 2019), missed connection (Rinky Dink Press, 2019), passionfruit (2020), and Venus in Bloom (Porkbelly Press, 2020). She also has two chapbooks, penumbra (Ghost City Press) and PULP (Maverick Duck Press) forthcoming.
